The Cylinder test is designed to evaluate locomotor asymmetry in rodent models of CNS disorders. It allows to measure the forelimb activity during the rearing against the wall of the cylinder.

Key features

The mirror allows to observe and video record an animal viewed from below and reliably score the forelimb contacts to the wall of the cylinder.

Insert the mirror into the inclined slots in the plastic stand. Put the transparent floor with magnets in its corners horisontally onto the stand above the mirror. Put the cylinder into the circular groove in the floor.
